It is with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Michael Charles Arthur Perkins, a beloved life partner, son, brother, and friend, who departed this life too soon on May 15th, 2024 in his hometown of Boston, Massachusetts surrounded by loved ones. He was born on May 23rd, 1984 to Denise and Michael Perkins. As the cherished life partner of Jennifer Jones and the loving brother of Jared and Jenna Perkins, he leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Known for his wit, kindness, and dry sense of humor, Michael kept everyone around him smiling. He excelled in his personal and professional life, showing us all the power of hard work and determination.

Michael was a proud graduate of the prestigious Boston Latin School and had the notable achievement of graduating early with double majors from University of Massachusetts, setting an example to all who knew him to strive for excellence. A dedicated Software Engineer by profession, Michael's passion for technology was only surpassed by his love for adventure and family. His happiest moments were spent riding his motorcycle, enjoying the tranquility of Maine in his RV alongside Jen and their beloved rescue puppy Benny. His legacy of believing in the importance of family will forever be imprinted on their hearts.

In addition to being survived by his life partner, Jennifer Jones; his loving parents, Michael and Denise Perkins; his caring siblings, Jared and Jenna Perkins; his sister-in-law, Mauryn Perkins; his adored nephew and niece, Jared and Delaila Perkins; and aunts, uncles, and cousins in Southern Maine - Michael touched countless lives through his kindness and compassion. He was predeceased by his uncles Richard Froempter and Paige Libby, and his beloved grandmother, Beverly Perkins. His close-knit family were the cornerstones of his life.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 23rd, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Dolan Funeral Home located at 1140 Washington Street in Dorchester. A celebration of life will take place at a later date as we come together to honor the memory of this remarkable man whose impact reached far beyond those who were fortunate enough to know him personally.

In lieu of flowers or gifts please consider bringing an annual or perennial plant as a living tribute to Michael's memory – something beautiful that can continue growing just like the love we hold for him within our hearts.
