Marjorie Agnes (Irvin) Davidson passed peacefully on October 31, 2024. She had been living at the Queen Anne Nursing home in Hingham since Spring of this year. She and her husband John spent their married years in Scituate and Weymouth. They didn’t have children but were avid dog lovers—enjoying the Kerry Blue Terrier breed.

Golf was their shared passion-- playing at Hatherly Country Club and in Florida in the winters.

Marge was a prolific bridge player. When she wasn’t playing bridge or shopping at Talbots she was knitting beautiful sweaters. She was born in Boston and grew up in Milton with her parents and sister Ruth. She graduated from Milton High School in 1943.

Marge was fiercely independent and was out and about until just last year. Her goal was to live to be 100.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Visitation Parish, St. Elizabeth’s Church, 350 Reedsdale Road, Milton, Saturday November 9 at 11:30 AM. Family and friends invited. Interment Milton Cemetery Tuesday November 12th at 11:00 AM.
