Mae Teresa LeFevre, 94, of Dennis Port passed away peacefully at her home, Tuesday November 1, 2022.

She was born in Portland, Maine, May 25, 1928 to Walter & Helen (Godfrey) Merrigan. During grammar school, Mae’s family moved to Dorchester. She graduated from Dorchester High School for Girls in 1946. Since 1977 she has lived on Cape Cod.

Beloved wife of the late Eugene E. LeFevre. Loving mother of Valerie Peterson of Florida, John Davis of Wrentham, Gregory Davis of South Yarmouth, and Nancy-Jo Davis of Dennis Port. Cherished grandmother of DJ, Trina, Casey, Kelsi & Brooke. She is also survived by her siblings Edward Merrigan and Dorothy Carr, both of Quincy and her loveable canine friend Wrangler.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Gregory Church, 2223 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, Tuesday November 8 at 10:00 AM. Family and friends invited. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
