It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Louise Morante of Newton on March 17, 2022, at the age of 82 years.

A graduate of Emmanuel College, Louise went on to earn her master’s degree at Boston College. Louise taught modern foreign languages at Hyde Park High School and Boston Latin School in the Boston Public Schools system for over 30 years.

Louise was a dedicated daughter and caretaker to her mother Francesca and a devout Catholic. She enjoyed watching the Boston Catholic Channel and living the word of God in prayer at her home.

The Red Sox & Patriots will also miss a faithful fanatic!

Louise will be rejoining her mother and father, Francesca and Anthony, and her loving sister Annette in Heaven. Louise is survived by her brother-in-law Daniel Gill of Dorchester, nephew Danny Gill & his beloved partner Maureen Lyons of Quincy, nephew David & his dear wife Bethann Gill of Weymouth, and she was the Great Aunt to Michael, Lauren, Tyler, and Alexis.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, March 23, 2022, in St. Gregory’s Church in Dorchester at 10 am. Interment to follow at Blue Hills Cemetery in Braintree.
