Obituary for Kettly Jean-Baptiste
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kettly Jean-Baptiste, who departed this life on Monday February 17th 2025 at the age of 72 following a recent stroke 2 months ago.
Kettly was a beloved sister, aunt, friend, known for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Born on May 22 1953 in Port-Au-Prince, Kettly was a person of great faith and compassion. She fulfilled her studies at College Fernand Prosper in Port-Au-Prince. She dedicated her life to Secretary at the City Hall of Port-Au-Prince Haiti, in the Archive department making birth certificates touching the lives of many with her generosity and warm spirit. Kettly was single but she had a deep love for her families, and her presence brought joy to all who knew her.
She is survived by many brothers, Sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by deceased mother Paulette Dorce Jean-Baptiste and deceased Robert Jean-Baptiste.
Visitation will be held at the New Jerusalem Church, 871 N. Main Street, RANDOLPH on Saturday, March 8th from 9-10AM. Funeral Service to begin at 10AM. Interment at Fairview Cemetery. Relatives and friends invited.

I never met or saw Sister Kettely Jean-Baptiste in my life, but I had the opportunity to talk to her on several occasions. She was jovial and also very magnanimous. The news of her death came as a surprise, but death is a reality we have to accept: we are born, we live and we die, that's the definition of life. Enjoy your journey, your good deeds will follow you. Garry

Mes très sincères condoléances à ma marraine. Nous ne nous étions pas trop bien connus. Les soucis de la vie au pays, aussi bien que ceux des États-Unis ne nous ont pas permis le temps de nous rapprocher vers l'un et l'autre. Elle a été la meilleure amie de ma mère et de par leur amitié, elle m'a confié son premier fils à Kettly, ou "ninnin'n" comme je l'appelais. que Dieu lui accord la paix et le bonheur dans l'au de las. De Mme Nardine Nozil, et de ses enfants Leonnedine E.Policard et de Nozil David E.Policard, nos plus sincères condoléances à son grand frère: Mr Lionel Jean-Baptiste et de ses enfants, Marie Lionelle Jean-Baptiste et de Céphas Jean-Baptiste; à sa grande sœur: Margareth Jean-Baptiste et famille ainsi a tous les autres parents et alliés affectés par ce départ. Kettly Jean-Baptiste, était plus qu'un collègue de bureau aux Archives National D'Haiti. Elle a été pour moi une sœur dans le vrai sens du mot. Sachez que sa mémoire continuera à animer nos existences. "Dieu est pour nous un refuge et un appui." Il l'a été toute sa vie pour Kettly, et Il le demeure dans la mort. Courage, Courage dans ce moment difficile. Que Dieu vous apporte la paix!

My condolences to the familyof Kettly For me she is family. She answered to the cute name of "Tikèl". I remember that it was always joy to see her. It has been a while and her picture is the same as it is etched in my memory. I say to myself: 'no tears a bit sadness is appropiate of course'. Like my wife would say I have an angel in high places.
