Obituary for Keenan Anthony Pinckney

Keenan Anthony Pinckney of Randolph, MA formerly of Quincy, MA was born on May 29, 1990 and passed away from an untimely death at Beth Israel Deaconess Milton Hospital, Milton, MA on April 11, 2022.

Beloved Son of Ms. Dianne M. Pinckney, Randolph, MA and Anthony F. Galloway of Taunton, MA. Older brother, Brandelle B. Pinckney of Boston, MA. Nephew/Niece of Jerome (Ardine), David (Doreen), Robert (Bernette), Charles (Barbara), Reginald (Cynthia) and (deceased Arthur (Darlene), (late Michael and Donald) Pinckney. Yolanda (Aunt Yodie) Galloway, Arlene Cozart (Godmother). Grandson of Jeane H. Pinckney, (late Arthur W. Pinckney, Barbara and Daniel Galloway) and many loving cousins and friends.

In his early years Keenan showed that he was bright, intelligent, and a quick learner, graduating from Quincy High School at the age of 17. In High School, he excelled and enjoyed immensely culinary arts. He was a “foodie”, enjoying “cheffing” it up for family and friends, dining at expensive restaurants and his favorite pastime, ordering “takeout”. He was particular about his clothing, especially paying careful attention to his outfits matching top to bottom, he was an avid video game player, and had a passion for writing poetry. He was generous to a fault, loving, caring, kind and compassionate. His mother often referred to him as her (rock) as he was an empathetic listener and always gave wise counsel. His demeanor, presence, positive attitude, hearty laughter, and quick “disses” will be sorely missed. He has left a large hole in the hearts of those who loved him and his personality can never be replicated. “I loved you Keenan unconditionally from birth until I last held you in my arms and kissed your sweet face on April 11, 2022. Life has a different meaning now that you’re gone, I vow to keep your legacy alive as you so deserve. “Gone but never, ever forgotten. Rest peacefully Son in sweetest paradise until we meet again, Mom.

I had not spoke to him in years but I would look him up every so often. I am deeply sadden by his death. I have many fond memories of him. I remember me taking him snow skiing and We stayed at my mothers. He said he never met anyone that old (she was 85). I enjoyed my time with him. Larry Silverman
