Jonathan Newman Bakis, of Boston, formerly of Milton, passed away on March 22, 2022 at the age of 34, following a courageous battle with cancer.

He is survived by his fiancée, Elizabeth Rappaport; his parents, Bruce Bakis and Kathleen Newman Bakis of Milton; his sister and brother-in-law, Kristina Newman Bakis and Matthew Barsamian, and nephews, William Bakis Barsamian and Griffin Bakis Barsamian, of Washington, DC; and his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

A graduate of Boston College High School and Boston College, Jonathan loved golf, was a passionate Patriots fan and was the embodiment of the fun uncle. He will be remembered for his kindness, empathy and humor, which left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Memorial Mass at St. Agatha Church, 432 Adams Street, Milton, Wednesday, March 30 at 10:30 AM.
