John F. Collins, Jr., of Milton, passed on October 12, 2021.

John was the son of the late Gertrude Fitzsimmons Collins and John F. Collins and brother of the late Hammond Collins M.D. He is the beloved brother of Ann Collins and Trudy Collins, both of Milton, the brother-in-law of Kathleen Collins of Hingham as well as the devoted uncle of Christopher Collins of Quincy and Caroline Collins of Boston.

A lifelong resident of Milton, John graduated from Milton High School in the fifties where he played football, basketball and baseball. He was a Navy veteran and worked for 36 years for Boston Edison. John enjoyed summer vacations on Cape Cod and New Hampshire with family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha Church, 432 Adams Street, Milton, Saturday October 16 at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment to follow at Milton Cemetery.
