Father, brother, beloved husband and Deacon Jean Yves Pamphile “Papi” will be remembered with love long after his passing.
Jean Pamphile was born in Croix des Bouquets, Haiti on April 2nd, 1955. He received educational experience and worked alongside his family business for years. He moved to the U.S. at age 25 and lived in New York for several years before eventually moving to Boston. While working a mutual job, he met Adelle, who is an ambitious and hardworking woman, who ultimately stole his heart. She became his wife and they wed on July 12, 1986. On April 2nd, 1988 and July 19th, 1992 respectively, he welcomed his two handsome sons, who were the most important part of his life.
Jean Pamphile was a devoted father and family man. Although he was not a man of many words, he enjoyed calling his close friends on the phone, checking up on people, and spending time at home surrounded by his family. He enjoyed listening to music and playing the drums with his friends. He was a problem-solver who often took on difficult tasks in order to find meaningful solutions. He was also a spiritual man who was involved in many church activities. He loved learning and understanding God’s word. He joined New Pentecostal Church of God (NPCOG) in 1991 where he served tirelessly as a faithful deacon and became president in 2004. Additionally, he was a hardworking bus operator for the MBTA for 18 years, a job role he committed to with integrity and dignity. He also received Biblical and Theological training and was a proud graduate from the P.R.E.S.S. Bible Institute in 2018.
Jean Pamphile passed away unexpectedly in his home on February 9th, 2022 at the age of 66. He is survived by his wife, Adelle, his sons Ricky and Andy, his sister Marie Erica Pamphile, his nephews Marc Lesley Pamphile and Naldini Remy, his niece Lansky Remy, his sister-in-law Ginette Germain, his mother-in-law Idovia Thelusma, his daughter-in-law Donicka, his extended family, and hundreds of people in the community whose lives were changed because of his kindness and caring spirit. He is predeceased by his brother Marc Lesley Pamphile, and his parents Mathilde Balan and Vixemond Pamphile. He is surrounded by loved ones who will survive to honor his memory by living their lives to the fullest and continuing his legacy. As a result of his generous spirit and pleasant personality, he was loved by so many. Papi, you will be deeply missed.
A Funeral Service will be held at New Jerusalem Evangelical Baptist Church, 871 N. Main Street, Randolph on Saturday February 26 at 10:00 AM. Family and friends invited. A visiting hour will be held at the church from 9-10 AM. Entombment Forest Hills Cemetery.
