Obituary for Jason H. DeAllie
Jason Henry DeAllie quietly passed away in the morning of Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Seasons Hospice Center after a lengthy illness.
He was 41 years of age. Jason was born on March 5, 1980 in Boston, MA to his loving parents Helen and Henry DeAllie. He attended Burke High School in Dorchester and graduated in 1998.
Jason was a devoted father to his two beloved children, Derrick DeAllie and daughter Jayla DeAllie. In his brief time here on earth, Jason touched many hearts with his gentle nature and kind spirit. He always made his loved ones smile with his sense of humor and loving nature. In the final weeks of his life, all the doctors, nurses, ambulance driver whose paths crossed his adored his humorous disposition. The ambulance driver on the way to hospice, even came by his room in his final moments to give him his own personal hat because he had that type of impact on those he touched. He loved the music of Tupac Shakur and whenever he wanted to make sure his family was not to worry about him, he would let us know that everything was “Gucci”. That was his personal phrase for everyone to relax because things will be all right.
Jason DeAllie was preceded by his siblings, the late Stephen DeAllie and Heather DeAllie. He is survived by his mother Helen, father Henry, brother Paul, son Derrick, daughter Jayla, many aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces who loved him dearly in Boston, Maryland, New York, Connecticut, London, Bermuda, and Grenada.
A memorial service for Jason is being planned and will be shared with family at a date in the near future. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Jason’s name to the American Liver Foundation https://liverfoundation.org/massachusetts-state-resource-center/
