Jarlath M. “Charlie” Burke died on November 8, 2021. He was 68 years old.

Beloved father of Joseph M. Burke and his wife Bailey of Allston. Brother of Johnny, William, Christopher, Gerald, Mary, Christina, Noreen, Margaret and the late Patrick and Theresa. Cherished grandfather of Lydia and James Burke.

Jarlath was born Galway, Turloughmore, Ireland. He came to the United States in 1983 for work and to play Hurling. He was a lover of many sports but most especially Hurling, he had a passion for it and always followed the Galway Hurling and Turloughmore Clubs closely. He was a lover of a cold pint and a good story, which he always had a good story to tell. He was known for his good work ethic and worked hard up until the day he could no longer work. He will be missed by all those who had the pleasure to have known him.

Visiting hours on Saturday November 13, 2021, 2-6 PM in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, Dorchester Lower Mills. A Mass of Christion Burial will be celebrated in St. Brendan Church, 593 Gallivan Blvd. Dorchester on Monday at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment at a later date.
