James Edward Rich, 60, of Milton, Massachusetts, passed away on June 19, 2022, in Boston, Massachusetts.
He was born in Camden, Alabama to the late Susan Rich Pilkington and James Aaron on November 21, 1962. He accepted Christ at an early age where he joined New Hope No. 2 Baptist Church in Camden, Alabama until he relocated to Boston, Massachusetts. During his season here on earth, he attended and graduated from Wilcox Central High School where he enjoyed playing basketball.
He is preceded in death by his Parents, Mrs. Susan Rich Pilkington and Mr. James Aaron; Godparents, Mr. Joe (Martha) McDaniel; Stepfather, Mr. Samuel Pilkington; Brothers, Rickey Aaron and Curtis Pilkington; Sister, Ann Aaron; God brothers, Joe and Earnest McDaniel; God sisters, Deloise Price and Mary Rosco.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Fabienne Rich of Milton, Massachusetts; Children, Yashamie Thomas of Huntsville, Alabama, James Salbi Junior of Boston, Massachusetts, Eshe and Jwon Rich of Atlanta, Georgia; John, Chris, and Rodney Rich of Milton, Massachusetts; Eight Grandchildren and One Great Grandchild; Sisters, Irene (James) Campbell of Montgomery, Alabama, Anita Rich of Camden, Alabama, Geraldine and Nancy Aaron of Connecticut, and Betty Aaron of New York; Brothers, Zannie Rich of Cleveland, Ohio, Michael (Andrea) Pilkington of Birmingham, Alabama, and Samuel and Nathaniel Aaron of Camden, Alabama; God brothers, Robert (Shirley) McDaniel of Harvest, Alabama, Rickley (Virginia) McDaniel of Maine, Bobby (Dina) McDaniel of Camden, Alabama, Alonzo (Fredricka) McDaniel of Jacksonville, Florida, Terry (Angela) McDaniel of Georgia, Russell (Angela) McDaniel of Indiana, and Charles (Sharon) Mosley of Alabama; God sisters, Annie Stallworth of Camden, Alabama and Martha (Charles) Bickerstaff of Montgomery, Alabama; A Special Devoted Cousin, John Rich of Camden, Alabama; Lifelong, Loyal Friends, Eric Rochelle of New Jersey, and Wayne and Dwayne Patterson of Boston, Massachusetts; Along with a host of Nieces, Nephews, and Friends.

Visitation on Friday July 1st 10-11AM in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, Dorchester Lower Mills. Funeral Service will follow at 11AM in the Funeral home. Interment in Milton Cemetery, Milton.
