Izetta R. Montague of Mattapan died on December 15, 2021. She was 90 years old. Beloved wife of George Montague of Mattapan. Mother of Henry Roque of Atlanta, GA, and Ann Barone Clarke Todd. Izetta is also lovingly survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Izetta was born and raised in Pleasantville, LA by her great-grandparents Alice and Wesley Thomas. She later migrated to Galveston, Texas where she met and married her husband George. After settling in Boston Izetta worked as a visiting nurse for many years, sharing her care and compassion with many patients over the years. Izetta was known as a kind and humble person who always looked after everyone she came in contact with. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known and loved her.

Visiting Hour on Thursday December 30th from 3-4 PM in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, Dorchester Lower Mills. A funeral service will follow at 4PM in the Funeral Home. Cremation to follow.
