George Joseph Steele, Jr. of Milton passed away peacefully on May 30, 2024, after a two year struggle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Judith A. Steele and loving father to Amy L. Smith of Weymouth. George was Papa to Dakota, Isabel, and Madelyn, all of Weymouth.

He was the son of the late George J. Steele and Lucy C. (Massarelli) of Dedham and was the brother of Henry, Robert, and the late Richard Steele.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of the Visitation Parish, Saint Mary of the Hills Church, 29 Saint Mary’s Road, Milton on Wednesday, June 5 at 11:30 AM. Visitation prior to Mass at the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE from 10-11 AM. Interment will be held at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree, MA.

In lieu of flowers, donations in George’s memory may be made to the Pat Roche Hospice Home, 86 Turkey Hill Lane, Hingham, MA, 02043.
