Esmine G (Reid) Harris was born on July 26,1937 in Castle Mountain Jamaica, to the late Enid Reid and Alfred Reid. She attended school in Jamaica where she received her High School Diploma.

Esmine G (Reid) Harris 85 departed this life on earth on Wednesday March 1, 2023, at Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Boston Massachusetts.

After Moving from Jamaica to Boston Massachusetts Esmine devoted her life to helping numerous families as Home Health Professional, where she touched many families lives through her cooking and tender love and care. Esmine had a smile that would light up a room. She was person that knew no strangers and loved everyone that she encountered. She enjoyed listening to Gospel music and coloring with her great-grandchildren.

Emsine was predeceased by her son Brian Lawrence Sr.

She leaves, to cherish her precious memories, her daughter Joan Brissett of Dorchester MA, and her son Earl Lawrence also of Dorchester MA; her three grandchildren Brian (Sheree) Lawrence Jr. of Springfield MA, Alwyn McLeod of Tampa FL, and Georgiana Brissett of Dorchester MA; her four Beloved great-grandchildren Brian Lawrence III, Brielle Lawrence, Alima Williams, and Jaylianna Henry. And her three siblings Beryl Dove of Mount Vernon NY, Blossom Taylor of Montego Bay Jamaica, and Trevor Taylor, also of Montego Bay Jamaica. She also leaves a host of family in Massachusetts and back home in Jamaica where her spirit can be felt.

Visitation will be held at Morning Star Baptist Church; 1257 Blue Hill Avenue, Mattapan on Thursday March 16th from 10-11AM. Funeral Service to begin at 11AM. Interment at Fairview Cemetery. Relatives and friends invited.
