Obituary for Ermelinda Oliveira

OLIVEIRA – Ermelinda, age 59 of Randolph formerly of Brava, Cabo Verde, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 16, 2025.

Born a beautiful baby girl in Brava, Cape Verde to Carolina "Dada" DaSilva on October 5, 1965. She grew into a lovely, fun loving, charismatic woman.

She attended James F. Condon Elementary School, Dearborn Middle School, and Madison Park High School. After which, she tried out modeling and ended up in childcare for years. Her motherly love was gifted to every child she cared for. She absolutely loved fashion, makeup, music, and quality family time. Ermelinda also had a love for animals, owning two cats in her lifetime, Poopsie and Stella. A big part of her heart was given to them.

Beloved daughter of Carolina DaSilva of Brava, Cape Verde. Devoted mother of Stephen Oliveira of Randolph. Cherished grandmother of Karisma Oliveira, daughter of Stephen Oliveira. As well as, a loving sister and aunt to Kennedy Semedo, Jackie Lopes, Moses DaSilva, and Erica Lopes, respectively.

Funeral service will be held Friday, February 21st, at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave., East Milton Square at 1:00pm. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Visitation will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave., East Milton Square prior to the funeral service.
