Elizabeth Ritchie of Dorchester, formerly of Milton, was born on September 12, 1929 and passed away on October 27, 2021.

Devoted Sister of the late Frances Duca, Helen Lennox, George “Fraser” Ritchie, and Robert Ritchie. Elizabeth leaves behind her loving sister-in-law Jean Ritchie and dear friend Rebecca Heidgerd of Dorchester. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth had a love for sports and was an avid life-long fan of the Boston Bruins, Celtics, Red Sox and New England Patriots. She was intelligent and inquisitive. She enjoyed reading and would often visit the Lower Mills branch of the Boston Public Library. Elizabeth was intensely independent and hardworking. She never drove and could be seen walking, bags in hand, throughout parts of Dorchester and Milton.

A Graveside Service will be held Monday, November 8, 2021 at Milton Cemetery at 1 o’clock. If desired, contributions may be sent to Milton Historical Society, 1370 Canton Avenue, Milton, MA 02186.
