Elizabeth L. (Flanagan) Roper, of Dorchester, Tuesday January 18, 2022.

Born in Boston and raised in Dorchester, Elizabeth was a graduate of St. Gregory School, St. Gregory High School for Girls and Katharine Gibbs School. Mrs. Roper worked for John Hancock Insurance company for many years. She enjoyed traveling to Maine.

Beloved wife of the late Alfred T. Roper. Loving mother of James H. Roper and his wife Lynne P. of Bedford, NH, Janet M. Donahue and her husband David F. of Scituate and the late John J. Roper and his surviving wife Deborah Roper of Manchester, NH. Elizabeth is survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Sister of the late Mary Flanagan, Helen Clinton, Margaret Langelier and Doris Wallace.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Gregory Church, 2215 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, MA 02124, Tuesday January 25 at 11:00 am. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hour at Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Tuesday 9:30-10:30 am. Relatives and friends invited. Masks are required at the funeral home and church. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
