Dorothy W. Guenon formerly of Greencastle, PA of Ashland, MA aged 109 years old, passed away early morning on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.

Dorothy, or Dot as many of her friends and family would caller, was born and raised in Pennsylvania. She devoted her earlier years becoming a nurse and working in the maternity ward. She then met her husband, Dr. William A. Guenon, and together they raised two boys of their own, William and Jay.

Throughout her life, Dorothy enjoyed spending time in Maine during the summer, hosting elegant dinner parties, and traveling to New York City to catch a show and update her wardrobe with the latest fashion trends. She resided in her Pennsylvania home well into her 90’s and continued to be very active in her church’s choir until she relocated to Ashland Massachusetts to be closer to family. She was the last of 13 siblings to enter into eternal rest.

She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. William A. Guenon, Sr., Devoted mother of William A. Guenon, Jr. of Ashland, MA and Jay Guenon of Norco, CA. Loving Grandmother of William Guenon, II of Holliston,Lisa Saindon of Beverly, Eleanore Guenon and Grace Guenon of California. Happy Great Grandmother of Violet Guenon, Dylan and Deven Saindon.

The Wake will be held at Dolan Funeral Home at 460 Granite Avenue, Milton MA on Friday, August 19th at 10:00 am, followed by a funeral service at noon.

On Tuesday, August 23rd, a Graveside Service will be held in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle, PA at 10 o’clock in the morning. Everyone is welcome to attend.
