Dillon M. Forrester was born to the late John Forrester and Caroline Blake, in Hanover, Jamaica, WI. In his early years, Dillon moved to the United States
Dillon was a very spiritual person, who believed in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and always kept his eyes on the cross.
On October 22, 1999โDillon M. Forrester was united in holy matrimony with Annette Harreil in Boston, MA. Dillon retired from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, MA, where he worked as a floor polisher for 13 years. Prior to working at MIT, Dillon worked for Sears and other various jobs.
In his leisure, Dillon enjoyed watching wrestling, some of his favorite actors and movies be Steven Segal and Clint Eastwood, he loved listening to and singing spiritual songs, he enjoyed being around family and friends, having cookouts (Dillon loved to eat ๐), he loved to buy fruit and his favorite was mangos. Dillon was THE BEST fruit picker in the house. When he was able, Dillon enjoyed taking car rides and going on road trips, taking walks around Franklin Park, going by P&R restaurant to pick up the Jamaica newspaper to catch up on news back home, and he loved to watch the guys play cricket.
Dillon had a smile on his face and always friendly to others. Dillon always instilled into others to live right, do your best and work for what you want.
Dillon M. Forrester departed this life on April 6, 2023. He was predeceased in death by: father, John Forrester; mother, Caroline Blake; one brother and one sister.
He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Annette Forrester of Boston, MA; his children: Angela Forrester, Ann Marie Forrester, Maureen Forrester, Dalton Forrester (Mayra,) Robert Forrester and Holton Forrester; his stepdaughters: Schvonda Harrell and Genesia Harrell; his grandchildren, great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and close friends.
Visitation, Friday, April 21, 2023, in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, 10-11 AM. Funeral Service to begin at 11 am. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery.
