Dennis D. Knight of Dorchester died on May 18, 2022 with his family by his side. He was 75 years old.

Dennis was the beloved husband of Theresa Knight for 50 years. Loving father of Otis, Carla and Kevin Knight. Son of Clotilda Knight. Brother of Cleva Knight, Velma Blackwell, Pamela Julien, Winniefred McPherson, Clifford Knight and the late Ancil Knight. Cherished grandfather of Jakai, Zita, Omar, Onlee, Melody, Noble and the late Ivana Knight. Dennis is also lovingly survived by many extended family and close friends.

Dennis was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad. At the age of 29 Dennis and his wife Theresa ventured to the United States. After arriving in the States, they settled in Boston. Dennis was a very humble man who adored his family. Dennis was a talented and dedicated mechanic for many years. He had a laidback outlook when faced with life’s challenges. Even in his final hours, when his brother called to check on him, Dennis responded with “Just Chillin.” He loved to play and watch golf, travel, listen to classical music, and enjoyed writing and playing his own music. Dennis was a talented and dedicated mechanic for many years.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday May 26th at 12 PM in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, Dorchester Lower Mills.
