Obituary for Davion Kaiem Spann

On Saturday, October 29, 2022, Davion Kaiem Spann, talented loving son, brother, nephew and grandson, passed away at the tender age of twenty-two. An avid creator and dreamer, Davion aka Too Much Sauce was a talented athlete at Wellesley High and an even more compassionate person off the field.

Davion has a forever love of his brothers, Mom, animals, and rapping. If anything Davion was determined to be a successful artist. After attending high school he always worked hard and remained a hard worker at his most recent job at The Hilton Garden Inn where he was a valued hard worker.

Davion was best known for his smooth swag, love for cooking with his nana, chats with his #1 love Mom and always being a generous kind spirit. He is survived by his Mother Unique Edwards, Father David Spann, Step Father Kareem Edwards, Father Figure/Mentor Moses Curry, Brothers Jacai, Sincere, Dashod, Phillip & littler sister Gianna, Grandmothers Kim Fontaine & Debroah Cox, Grandad Jonathan Kirkland, Aunts Arian & Deanna, Uncle Oasis, Great Aunts Leigha, Mika Fontaine, Great Grandmother Deidra Fontaine and a multitude of cousins, friends and family who adored his kindred personality.

Davion we would like to thank you for blessing us with your presence, curiosity, bravery, kindness and most of all you looked angelic without a care in the world. AT PEACE. You are loved and will be missed.

TO MY SON:

Davion I love you! I’m extremely proud to have been your mother! I’m going to miss your smile that lights up the room, the little dances we did together and hearing you rap in your room. I hope you are at peace now. I want you to know mommy is not mad. I’m just sad but I know we will be together and that’s what will get me through. I love you! Davion, watch over us!

TO MY BROTHER:

MY 50, Boy didn’t matter what you had, you always made sure I was good. At times it was like you was my big brother, somebody I can look up to. Somebody I can talk to when ever my mind was cluttered, a person that didn’t judge or hold a grudge. You are definitely one of the strongest and BRAVEST person I know. That’s why I was so proud to have you as my brother. We still have unfinished business with that game too. Don’t think I forgot but until then… hold it down up there and I’ll do the same down here . I love you Blooda & don’t worry I got this.

FOR MY GRANDSON:

Davion , he was the most kind and gentle soul. Love for you is like a breath of fresh air. Losing you has taken my breath I am at a lost. My love will last forever. My name sake. I love you Davion Kaiem Spann. You Nana

MY NEPHEW:

My Chocolate Thunder… Thank You for never judging, being super helpful and with all my shenanigans. Every time you had a new song we would blast the speakers and be your biggest hype man ever! It’s hard to forget someone to forget someone who gave you so much to remember. Nephew WE ALWAYS LITT BABY!
