Obituary for Daryl E Holloway, Jr.
Daryl Edward Holloway, Jr., affectionately known to his loved ones as "Moo Moo," "Honda D," and "Non Stop," graced this world with his vibrant presence on December 12, 1986, and departed from us on August 20, 2023. Daryl's life was a perpetual celebration, and his zest for life was a source of boundless joy. Daryl Jr.'s journey through life was a rich tapestry woven with cherished moments. He found immense happiness riding alongside his biker crew, basking in the camaraderie of sports events with his parents and siblings, embarking on exciting adventures, and cherishing every precious moment with his beloved daughter, Dalilah. In his formative years, he pursued his education through the METCO program in the town of Belmont. He was technically trained in the Florida Air Academy and graduated from Stoughton Academy in 2006. Throughout his life, Daryl Jr. explored various roles within the construction field and made meaningful contributions to the family business. He had an entrepreneurial spirit that lead to his custom personal protective gear business and aspired to open his own diner. Daryl Jr.'s character radiated with genuine acts of kindness. His willingness to lend a helping hand, whether it was assisting strangers with their groceries or clearing snow from cars, exemplified his caring nature. He had a remarkable habit of checking in on his elders, leaving behind a trail of smiles wherever he went. Whether he was actively participating or simply watching, his competitive spirit ignited a passion within him that resonated through the sporting events he held dear. His charisma drew people to him like moths to a flame, forging connections that lasted a lifetime. Daryl Jr. is survived by his mother, Sherelle Holloway, and father, Daryl Holloway Sr.; his brother, Darelle Holloway; his sisters, Delaine, Jameela, Donyea, and Darla Holloway; his grandmother, Gail Cummings; his grandfathers, Tony Williams, Randolph Spencer, and Major Cummings. Daryl Jr. also leaves his two nieces, Amaiya Ervin and Azure Veal along with two nephews Liam Harrison and Bentley Veal as well as numerous other family members and close friends whom he considered extended family. Daryl Jr. is preceded in death by his grandfather Willie Holloway, grandmother Peggy Holloway, Sheril Spencer, and Linda Williams. His legacy also includes his cherished daughter with Sherline Eugene, Dalilah Holloway. As we bid farewell to "Moo Moo," known as Honda D, we hold onto memories of his infectious laughter and heartwarming smile. The void he leaves behind can never be filled, and the love he garnered serves as a testament to the indelible impact he had on all fortunate enough to know him. In lieu of flowers, the Holloway Family kindly requests contributions to the Dalilah Holloway Fund. These donations will help support Daryl's daughter, Dalilah, in her pursuit of a college education, ensuring that Daryl's legacy of love and care endures for generations to come.
