Daniel C. Meeks, also known as “Hanky" by family and friends, 60, of Boston, MA sadly left us on February 27, 2023. Daniel was born on June 29, 1962, to Wesley and Walter Meeks Sr.

He attended Boston Public Schools, and since he had a love for food, decided to attend NECAT Culinary Arts Training School, where he obtained a certificate in cooking. He later landed a job with Encore Casino as a chef.

He is predeceased by his two grandmothers: Willie Mae Palmer and Daisy Davis, two brothers: Ralph Judd and Andre Meeks.

He is survived by his parents Wesley Meeks and Walter (Ernestine Meeks, his daughter Danielle Meeks, his wife Tracy Meeks, his stepdaughter Erika Bailey (Darnell.) Three brothers: Walter Meeks Jr (Sharon), Anthony Bernard Meeks, and Andrew Davis. Four sisters: Sheila Judd, Catisha Berment (David), Nailah Davis and Hope Davis.

As well as beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Visiting hours will be held at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1150 Washington St., DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS on Wednesday, March 8th at 10:00AM. Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Fairview Cemetery, 45 Fairview Ave., Boston.
