Obituary for Carolyn (Will) Egan

Carolyn (Will) Eagan of Hingham, passed away after a courageous battle with lymphoma.

Carolyn graduated from Westwood High School in 1975. Following graduation from New England College, she went on to have a successful career as a travel agent in Newton and Weston. Following marriage, Carolyn enjoyed life as a mother and homemaker. A devoted wife, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Carolyn will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to have known her.

Carolyn was the wife of John J. Eagan, and mother of two children: Kathryn Coleman of York, Maine, and Will Eagan of Boonton, New Jersey. She was a grandmother to two grandchildren: Liam Coleman and Nora Eagan. Carolyn was the devoted sister of four siblings: Nancy Will Southern of Tybee Island, GA, Sandy (Alexander) Will of Quincy, Barbara Lawrence of Lakeville, and Frank Will of Hingham. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Paul Church, 147 North Street, Hingham, Wednesday, July 13 at 10:00 AM. Family and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, Tuesday July 12 from 4-8 PM. Burial Stetson Meadow Cemetery, Norwell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Avenue, Salem, MA 01970.

    Prayers and love for the family, she was my first cousin and I remember her as a baby and later on at cape cod.
