Carol Ann Wilson, born March 14, 1947. The eldest to Dorothy and James Griffin, Sr. She was educated at the Jeremiah E. Burke high school for girls graduating in 1964. Furthering her education, graduating from UMass Boston with a B.A. Psychology. Utilizing her education and life experiences a community activist was born. From The Dimock Center (1992) Project New Life (1993) which became Martha Elliott Health Center sponsored by Children’s Hospital. She was the senior clinician, helping any and everyone who walked through the doors.

She set a new precedence for her family by earning her master’s degree at Lesley University in Counseling Psychology. She went on to work 22 years before retiring from Martha Elliot in 2014. In retirement she enjoyed traveling to see her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Carol is proceeded in death by her mother and father, Dorothy Huggins and James Griffin Sr. & husband Theodore Wilson. She is survived by 3 children Amber Wilson, Derek Wilson & Nicole (Wilson) Dickerson & son in law Christoper Dickerson. Siblings: James Griffin Jr, Darryl Lee, Renee Blanche and Sharna Lee-Brown. 4 grandchildren Teneisha Jackson, Eric Bradshaw, Ahmari & Akeem Dickerson. 8 Great Grandchildren, Baileigh, Braylen, Jasmine, Brooke, Bryce, Charles, Blake and Bentley. As well as a host of friends and relatives of the Harris and Griffin surname. Rest in Peace Carol. We will forever carry your memory in our hearts.
