Obituary for Bridget Marie Hebbert

Bridget Marie Hebbert - age 63, of Dorchester, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 20, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the great unifier, so it was not surprising that even at the end of her earthly life, she brought the entire family to her bedside united in love and grief to witness her transition.

Bridget was the heart and soul of her family, always there to listen, support, and offer a shoulder to lean on. Her home was a gathering place, where family and friends would come together to celebrate birthdays, holidays, and often just an impromptu gathering would take place if enough people were there. Bridget loved having family and friends in her home, she enjoyed the role of hosting and serving others. These are some of the cherished memories that will last forever.

As an entrepreneur and beloved teacher, Bridget owned and operated her early childhood education establishment. One of her passions was helping young children thrive and reach their full potential. Kind and compassionate, respectful, warm, and nurturing were the foundations of her teaching style, she believed those characteristics would create a supportive and stimulating learning environment for the children in her care. Those are the qualities that allowed her to make a lasting impact on countless families for 35 years. Her impact was so meaningful that her former students would come back as adults to place their children in her care.

Beyond her family and career, Bridget was passionate about travel, interior design, and fashion. As a true fashionista, she would not miss an opportunity to get dressed up, sport a pair of high heel shoes, with a purse and sunglasses.

Bridget is survived by her loving children, Patrick and Ebony Beech; her beloved mother, Carolina de Hebbert; her siblings Lindel, Clifford, Lillyana, Jacqueline, Raquel, and Frank; 23 cherished nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles, brother and sister in-laws, cousins and friends who will miss her deeply.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 5th at the Twelfth Baptist Church, 160 Warren St., ROXBURY at 2:00 pm. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bridget Marie Hebbert de 63 años y residente de Dorchester, falleció en paz el jueves 20 de marzo de 2025, rodeada de su amorosa familia. Fue una gran unificadora, por lo que no es de extrañar que, incluso al final de su vida terrenal, reuniera a toda su familia junto a su lecho de muerte, unida en el amor y el dolor, para presenciar su transición.
Bridget era el alma de su familia, siempre dispuesta a escuchar, apoyar y ofrecer un hombro de sostén. Su hogar era un lugar de encuentro, donde familiares y amigos se reunían para celebrar cumpleaños, días festivos, y a menudo, se organizaba una reunión improvisada si había suficiente gente. A Bridget le encantaba recibir a familiares y amigos en casa; disfrutaba de la hospitalidad y el servicio a los demás. Estos son algunos de los preciados recuerdos que perdurarán para siempre.
Como emprendedora y querida maestra, Bridget era propietaria de su negocio de educación infantil. Una de sus pasiones era ayudar a los niños pequeños a desarrollarse y alcanzar su máximo potencial. Amable, compasiva, respetuosa, cálida y cariñosa eran los cimientos de su estilo de enseñanza; creía que estas características crearían un entorno de aprendizaje estimulante y de apoyo para los niños a su cargo. Estas cualidades le permitieron dejar una huella imborrable en innumerables familias durante 35 años. Su impacto fue tan significativo que sus antiguos alumnos frecuentemente regresaron como adultos para dejar a sus hijos a su cuidado.
Más allá de su familia y su carrera, Bridget era una apasionada de los viajes, el diseño de interiores y la moda. Como auténtica fashionista, no perdía la oportunidad de arreglarse, lucir tacones altos, bolso y gafas de sol.
A Bridget le sobreviven sus amados hijos, Patrick y Ebony Beech; su amada madre, Carolina Newball de Hebbert; sus hermanos Lindel, Clifford, Lillyana, Jacqueline, Raquel y Frank; 23 queridos sobrinos; tías y tíos, primos, cuñadas, cuñados, y amigos que la extrañarán profundamente.
