Obituary for Bridget Marie Hebbert
Bridget Marie Hebbert - age 63, of Dorchester, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 20, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the great unifier, so it was not surprising that even at the end of her earthly life, she brought the entire family to her bedside united in love and grief to witness her transition.
Bridget was the heart and soul of her family, always there to listen, support, and offer a shoulder to lean on. Her home was a gathering place, where family and friends would come together to celebrate birthdays, holidays, and often just an impromptu gathering would take place if enough people were there. Bridget loved having family and friends in her home, she enjoyed the role of hosting and serving others. These are some of the cherished memories that will last forever.
As an entrepreneur and beloved teacher, Bridget owned and operated her early childhood education establishment. One of her passions was helping young children thrive and reach their full potential. Kind and compassionate, respectful, warm, and nurturing were the foundations of her teaching style, she believed those characteristics would create a supportive and stimulating learning environment for the children in her care. Those are the qualities that allowed her to make a lasting impact on countless families for 35 years. Her impact was so meaningful that her former students would come back as adults to place their children in her care.
Beyond her family and career, Bridget was passionate about travel, interior design, and fashion. As a true fashionista, she would not miss an opportunity to get dressed up, sport a pair of high heel shoes, with a purse and sunglasses.
Bridget is survived by her loving children, Patrick and Ebony Beech; her beloved mother, Carolina de Hebbert; her siblings Lindel, Clifford, Lillyana, Jacqueline, Raquel, and Frank; 23 cherished nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles, brother and sister in-laws, cousins and friends who will miss her deeply.
