Obituary for Brenda N. Cameron

Brenda N. Cameron, 63, of Boston, died Monday, February 21, 2022.

She was born to the late Artis Cooper and Earline Cooper on August 19, 1958 in Boston, MA. Brenda attended South Boston High School. She went on to work for Polaroid for 25 years. Later Brenda began working at Amtrak as a cleaning technician for 13 years. She was passionate about her family and spending time with her grandchildren who she adored. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, and dancing and she was an avid lover of blues music. She never missed a family gathering. Brenda loved to travel. She especially enjoyed her 60th birthday celebration where she took a cruise to the Bahamas.

Brenda was survived by her two sisters, Glenda Cameron of Boston, MA Michelle Joiner (Al Joiner) of Blackstone, MA, and two brothers Artis Cooper, Jr. of Boston, MA and Clarence Cooper (Elaine Allen) of Alexandria, VA. She was the beloved mother of Amina Johnson (Toby Johnson) of Kennesaw, GA, Nikia Cameron of Boston and Melissa Rascoe (Ray Rascoe) of Boston, MA. She also is survived by seven grandchildren: Ramon Maddery-Cameron, Deshawn Maddery-Cameron, Jamaree Cameron-Lane, Nya Johnson, Naequan Cameron-Milton, Camryn Johnson and Ayden Rascoe. Great Grandchildren: Nahsai Roland-Cameron, Kiana Cameron, Nalayah Roland-Cameron as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Brenda joins her beloved grandson Bryson Rascoe in Heaven.
