Anne Marie was born in Plottier Haiti on December 24th 1942 to Therese Pierre and Merilan Louis. Anne Marie Oxidor, who loved to be called “Mommy” by her kids, departed her loving family on April 15th 2024. She made her living as a seamstress and a baker in Haiti. When she came to America, she went on to work as a security guard at Northeastern University for a number of years.

She had 5 siblings, Lucien (deceased), Aimable, Jacques, Marie Lourdes, and Paul. Anne Marie survived by her 5 children: Claudy, Vidade, Eunide, Nadine, and Rosemonde; and 12 grandchildren: Sabrina, Peterson, Jazmyne, Larissa, Pierrelensky, Nino, Dwayne,Noah,Chloe, Jayvan, CJ, Christian and surrogate children Maggie and Janet. She had 3 nieces: Solange, Frantz, Denise.

Anne Marie always put her family first. She was very proud of her children and her grandchildren. She dedicated her life to ensuring that her children received the best care and education. She was a caring, smart, and talented woman. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking, spending time with friends and family, watching the news and watching her soap operas. Anne Marie was a Christian woman with a strong faith and a perfect attendance at Sunday mass.

She was a queen and a fashionista. Anne Marie was a kind soul who touched the lives of everyone she came across. We will miss her love, support and sense of humor.

Visitation will be held at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS on Friday, May 3rd from 6-8PM. Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 10AM on Saturday, May 4th at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, 1548 Blue Hill Avenue, MATTAPAN. Interment at Fairview Cemetery. Relatives and friends invited.
