Obituary for Anne Marie Leary-Forsyth
Ann Marie Leary-Forsyth of Reno, NV, originally from Boston, passed away suddenly, Sunday April 4th, 2021.
“Ann/Mom/Nunna/Annie” could do it all. She lit up every room she walked into. Her larger-than-life personality, smile and laughter left a lasting impression everywhere she went. She made friends with everyone she came in contact with. She was a friend to all.
Ann enjoyed living life to the fullest! Her karaoke nights, beating extremely high levels in candy crush, cooking for her friends, the Christmas season, talking and texting her family, spending time with her 3 cats, getting her nails done, knitting, painting and ESPECIALLY shopping!
She was unapologetically herself. She was fearless, selfless & compassionate. Ann fought through the hardest of times and was able to live a beautiful, loving and fulfilled life. Ann had a kind and incredibly generous heart. She will be greatly missed by so many people.
Ann leaves behind her husband Michael Forsyth, her daughter Angela Canale and her husband John, their children Amanda, Kristina, Johnny & Michael of Milton, MA, her son Matthew Leary and his wife Michelle and their children Matthew Jr. & Tyler of Simpsonville, SC. Ann is also survived by her mother and siblings.
A Mass to celebrate Ann’s life will be held at Saint Agatha Church, 432 Adams Street, Milton, Friday April 16 at 11:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Pine Street Inn, Attn: Shelli Hezekiah, 444 Harrison Avenue, Boston, MA 02118. Ann helped everyone, especially those in need.
Due to Covid restrictions there will be no services following the Mass.
In loving memory of Ann, may she rest in the sweetest of peace in heaven.
