Obituary for Ann M. Branczewski

Ann M. (Lee) Branczewski entered eternal life on March 5, 2021.

Ann was born in Galway, Ireland and immigrated to the United States in 1957. She held dual citizenship in Ireland and the United States and one of her proudest accomplishments was being sworn in as a United States citizen.

Ann was very active in the Irish dance community and belonged to several Irish clubs including the Cork Club, the Norwood Irish Music Club, and she was a trustee with the Irish Social Club of West Roxbury where the club president referred to her as “the most loyal member.” She frequently traveled to Ireland to attend annual dance events with her sister Kathleen.

Ann was a proud supporter of United States Veteran’s and was recognized several times for her contributions to multiple Veteran’s organizations.

Ann was the widow of the late Robert Branczewski, cherished and devoted mother of Lee Ann (Branczewski) Seyller and her husband Eric of Brockton and Robert Branczewski and his wife Jennifer of Abington. Ann’s greatest joy in life was the special and unbreakable bond she shared with her children. She loved Eric and Jennifer as if they were her own son and daughter. She was the daughter of the late Tadhg and Nancy Lee of Ireland, sister of Maureen Meany of Chestnut Hill, Patricia Kennedy of England, Kathleen Walsh of Ireland, Rodger Lee of Ireland, Ted Lee of England. and the late Eileen Crowley of Quincy, John Joe Lee of Ireland, Brendan Lee of Ireland, and Redmond Lee of Ireland.

Visiting Hours in St Mark’s Church, Dorchester Friday, March 12 from 10-11 AM

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ann’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project and The Irish Social Club of West Roxbury.
