Obituary for Andrew Riley Bears

Andrew Riley Bears, a vibrant soul with a zest for life, passed away on September 29, 2024. Born on May 19, 1998, he leaves behind a legacy of creativity, passion, and love.

He is survived by his mother, Heather (Park) Bears of Onset; father, Warren A Bears III of Methuen; sister, Emma Bears of Onset; brother, Warren M Bears and wife Kim Bears of Chester, NH; predeceased grandparents, Lewis and Jean Park; living grandparents, Papa (Warren) and Nana (Arlene) Bears; aunts, uncles, nieces; and many cousins.

Andrew was a man of many interests. His artistic spirit was evident in his love for drawing and tattoos. He found solace and joy in nature, often spending time in the woods taking pictures, at the beach, kayaking, and exploring lighthouses. He enjoyed kayaking to "the Island." His culinary skills were well-known, and he had a particular fondness for leftovers. A collector at heart, Andrew amassed a diverse array of treasures, from coins and tools to street signs, license plates and more.

His love for cars was boundless. He enjoyed driving, fixing, and especially admiring antique vehicles. Andrew took great pride in owning his own home and cherished the comfort and independence it provided. His loyal companion, his beloved dog Zues, was a constant source of joy.

Andrew's infectious laughter and playful spirit brought joy to those around him. He loved spending quality time with his family, especially his mother, Heather, sister, Emma, and brother, Warren. Together, they enjoyed game nights, sharing laughter and creating lasting memories. His cousins fondly recall their childhood adventures, from skateboarding with Matty to the reliable care of his best babysitter, Nina.

Fond memories of camping & flying in Keene, NH with cousins Olivia & McKenzie & Uncle Jeffrey; and trips to Disney World in Florida with Gramp, Shirl & Brianna. Other Florida trips with his brother, sister and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The New England Wildlife Center, a cause that reflected Andrew's deep love for animals.

Andrew Riley Bears will be remembered for his unique blend of creativity, passion, and kindness. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
