Andre Yvon Jean-Louis, 83, of Boston, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Hinche, Haiti on October 30, 1941, Yvon moved to Boston in 1968, where he built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. He was a long-time employee at Boston Sheraton Hotel.

Yvon's journey from Haiti to the United States was marked by resilience, hard work, and a profound love for his family and culture. Known for his infectious laughter knack for storytelling and playing dominos. Yvon could light up any room with his humor and warm personality.

A devoted husband, Yvon is survived by his beloved wife, Caridad, who stood by his side for over 55 years. Together, they built a life together and raised four wonderful children, Jacques Andre, Clark, Georgy, and Ferrier. Yvon was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren, Anthony Jerome, Jonette Alisa, Tyrique Dallis Sr, Jessica, Jemini, Antonio & Aiden and five great-grandchildren, Tyrique Dallis Jr, Tre’Vaughn, Jayce, Parker & Maylani. His daughter-in-law, Ozzietta (wife of Georgy). Three surviving siblings, Marguerite, Dugue and Franckel, countless nieces, nephews, and cousins. He relished every moment spent with them, sharing stories of his youth, imparting wisdom, and, most importantly, creating unforgettable memories.

Yvon's legacy is one of love, laughter, hard work, and a deep commitment to family and community. He will be remembered for his kindness, his zest for life, and his ability to bring people together with his tales and jokes.

Visitation will be held at the Boston Missionary Baptist Church, 336 Dudley Street, ROXBURY on Friday, January 24th from 9-10AM. Funeral Service to begin at 10AM. Interment at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends invited.
