Americo L. Barbosa, age 98, of Holbrook, MA, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022.

Born on April 3, 1924 in Fogo, Cape Verde. He was the son of late Rita Fernandes Barbosa and Antonio Lopes Barbosa. Barbosa was devoted to his family and has a legacy he left behind that will be carried out for many years to come.

Beloved boyfriend of late Maria Barbosa. He is survived by his brother and sister Manuel Barbosa and Ana Gomes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Christiano Fernandes and Maria Barbosa.

He was joyful and strong man who will be deeply missed.

Visiting hours will be held at Saint Patrick’s Church 336 Dudley Street, Roxbury on Wednesday May 4, 2022 from 4 -8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Patrick’s Church on Thursday April 5th at 10am. Interment will follow at New Calvary Cemetery.
