Allen Wayne Copeland quietly departed this life on Friday, February 19, 2021 at his home in Hyde Park, MA.

Allen AKA “Tee Lump” was born September 30, 1949 in Manchester GA to the late Allen James and Doris Lee Copeland. He attended the public school system in Meriwether County and graduated from Meriwether County Training School in 1967 in Manchester, GA.

After graduating from High School, “Tee” moved to Boston, MA to join his older sister. Shortly after, he began working for the United States Post Office where he retired thirty plus years later. As a young man Allen was known for his party boy image as he often DJ’ed house parties at his home with his younger sister in the south end of Boston. His favorite pastimes included watching basketball, football, dressing up and wearing the finest colognes. He was joined in Holy Matrimony to the love of his life Doris “Dora” Copeland September 29, 1979 and they were faithfully married until her passing in 2003.

As a result of his loving spirit, he was loved by many.

Adopted with love through marriage he had one daughter, Tashiani Morales Havrilla (Albert) of Woodbridge, VA. The second born of five siblings and the only son, he had four sisters, Carolyn A. Paschall (Henry), Boston, MA, Doris P. Champaign (deceased), Lois E Morgan (Edmond), Atlanta, GA and Sharon A. Harris (Clarence), Manchester, GA. He also has a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and close relatives.

Visiting hours at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington St., DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS on Wednesday, March 10 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment private
